The first floor of this Tribal museum is to keep and showcase the tribal crafts, implements and other heritage of the main tribal people of Sarawak and Borneo, so that their heritage will not be lost as the Tribal people get modernised.

Thus, the first Lane shall display the heritage of the Bidayuh tribe and the second lane shall display the Iban tribe, while the Third Lane shall portray the heritage of the Orang Ulu or the highland people. Whereas the Forth Lane shall be for the Borneo Tribal Village owner’s heritage. The ground floor of this Tribal Museum would be used to showcase the bigger or bulky tribal tools and implements such as the paddy grinding “machine”, the sugarcane press, rubber sheet mangle etc.

Thus, the Tribal Museum is built at Borneo Tribal Village to have a collection of the tribal heritage to be preserved for future generation to see the way of life of their ancestors as well for the world to peep into the tribal lives in yesteryear.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space][/vc_column][/vc_row]
